He has excelled in Revenue Department and has taken VRS in May 2008 as Manager Trade Fair, Department of Industries, Govt. of Gujarat. He has visited around 30 countries as delegate of Govt. of India for business development. He is excellent in professional coordination with government and private agencies and commands excellent public relations with diplomats, bureaucrats and journalists in India and abroad. He is an electrical engineer from Gujarat Board and Bachelor of Business Administration.

He superannuated from ONGC in October 2014 as Director ONGC Videsh Ltd. He gave his services to Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation Limited, Gandhinagar, Gujarat as Advisor (Reservoir Engineering) from November 2015 to October 2016. His areas of specialization includes: Managing the global operations of 11 assets spread across 9 countries and acquisition of oil gas properties to increase the oil & gas portfolio, provided high level of technical reservoir engineering expertise and ensure appropriate reservoir engineering analysis, expert support to projects. Strengthen the Company's reservoir engineering team by proactive mentoring and support. He is BTech (Honors) in Petroleum Engineering from ISM, Dhanbad.

He superannuated from ONGC in December 2011 as Executive Director- Chief of Offshore Exploration and Development. He was CEO of Mansarovar Energy Colombia Ltd., a JV of ONGC Videsh Ltd. and SIPC of China. He has vast experience in onshore and offshore seismic data acquisition, processing and interpretation. As ED-Chief of Geophysical Services, he was responsible for conducting seismic surveys in different sedimentary basins of India and has been responsible for new technology induction in Exploration. He has published/presented over a dozen papers on geoscientific data interpretation in various national / international journals and forums. He holds M.Sc. (Tech) degree in Exploration Geophysics from Osmania University.

He superannuated from ONGC in February 2008 as Executive Director-Chief KDM Institute of Petroleum Exploration, an exploration R&D centre of ONGC. His areas of specialization in G&G include structure and tectonics, depositional system and system tracts, integrated basin analysis, structural geomorphology, sequence stratigraphy, remote sensing, prospect evaluation and acreage assessment. He has thorough understanding of all Indian basins and is conversant with various overseas basins also. He has represented ONGC in many national and international conferences and symposia in different countries. He has published and presented more than 30 papers in various national / international journals and forums. He is Gold Medalist of M.Sc. in Geology from Banaras Hindu University and Diploma in Photogeology and Remote Sensing from Indian Institute of Remote Sensing, Dehradun.
